Roborock has launched the Qrevo Curvrobot vacuum and mop. This new model's docking station has a more unusual rounded shape, compared to the angular finish of older models. The dock can maintain the robot with 75°C (~167°F) hot water mop washing and warm air drying. You can choose between the larger docking station with built-in water tanks or a more compact option that connects to the plumbing in your home.
The Qrevo Curv delivers an impressive 18,500 Pa HyperForce suction power, a significant increase on the 10,000Pa offered by Roborock’s top-of-the-line S8 MaxV Ultra model. Underneath the robot is the new DuoDivide Main Brush and FlexiArm Arm Side Brush, each designed to prevent hair tangling and ensure it is sucked into the dustbin. Thanks to the AdaptiLift Chassis, an industry first, the robot has a new climbing ability. The technology allows the device to tackle higher thresholds, cantilever or sled-leg chairs and medium pile carpets by lifting up to 4 cm (~1.6 inches).
Other features include FlexiArm mops at the rear to ensure corners and room edges are cleaned, “Hello Rocky” voice commands and a quiet cleaning mode. On top of this, support for the Matter standard is expected to arrive in an OTA update in the future. The Roborock Qrevo Curv robot vacuum and mop is currently on show at IFA 2024. It will be available to pre-order from September 9th with discounts expected on the €1,499.99 RRP. The Qrevo Curv launched in China in August as the P20 Pro.
