Amazfit has teased the GTR 4 New Version smartwatch, which will launch in India soon. Compared to the original GTR 4, the wearable has a refreshed design, with a rounded metallic frame, slimmer stainless steel navigation crown and a more prominent round lower button.
The GTR 4 New also has a slightly larger ultra HD AMOLED display, measuring 1.45-inch rather than 1.43-inch. Plus, the screen-to-body ratio appears to have been increased to 70.6%. Otherwise, the two models are very similar. The latest version will be equipped with Zepp OS 2.0 out of the box, like its predecessor, despite the recent rollout of Zepp OS 3.5 to this model. The BioTracker 4.0 Health Data Sensor lets you track heart rate, blood oxygen, breathing rate and stress levels, and you can log exercise with over 150 sports modes. Other features include GPS location tracking, Bluetooth calling, downloadable Mini apps, local music storage, and Amazon Alexa and offline voice commands. Plus, the wearable is said to run for up to 14 days with typical use and offers a Battery Saver mode.
Customers can choose between two strap colors: Vintage Brown Leather and Black (silicone). Though the exact release date is unknown, the Amazfit GTR 4 New Version is confirmed to launch in India for the discounted price of Rs. 19,999 (~$238); the watch is expected to retail for Rs. 23,999 (~$286). It is unclear whether or when the new model could reach other markets like North America or Europe.
