Meizu has introduced a new power adapter in China, the Pandear 67W. This GaN fast charger features a dual-port design, featuring one USB Type-A and one Type-C. One standout feature of the brick is that it has an RGB indicator light beside ports, which lets you know the charging status.
Among the two ports, the USB-C maxes out at 67W, while the USB-A can offer up to 18W of power. When both ports are used, the Type-C port will max out at 45W, while the maximum power output of the Type-A remains unchanged.
Thanks to having support for PD, QC 3.0, PPS, SCP, and UFCS, this GaN charger is compatible with many devices. The 67W fast charging can even get smartphones from 0% to 100% quickly. Meizu says that it can get iPhone 15 Pro to 60% in 30 minutes.
The GaN charger also adopts a travel-friendly form factor. It measures 32.5×34×70 mm and has a foldable plug. Meizu says that the Pandear 67W has a "counter-balanced weight" design. This ensures that the power adapter doesn't fall when it's hooked horizontally to the wall outlet.
Other highlights of the Pandear 67W power adapter include multiple protection features for safe charging and Super mCharge support for Meizu devices. The launch price in China is CNY 139, around $19.46. The company doesn't usually bring Pandear products outside China, but they tend to be available on third-party retailers such as AliExpress.
