Method 1: Add watermark on a single slide
1. Select the target slide
Open the PPT file and select the individual slide you want to add a watermark to.
2. Insert watermark
Click the [Insert] tab, select [Text Box] or [Picture], if it is a text watermark, enter the content in the text box. If it is a picture watermark, select the picture file and insert it into the slide.
3. Set watermark format
Take the picture below as an example, select the text or picture, right-click the mouse and select [Format Text Effect] or [Format Shape], then adjust the style, and you can also set the transparency to make the watermark more invisible.
You can rotate the watermark and adjust its position if needed.
4. Lock the watermark position
If you want to ensure that the watermark will not be accidentally manipulated during the editing process, you can right-click the watermark and select [Send to Back] to fix it at the bottom of the slide.
Method 2: Add watermark using master view
1. Open the master view
Open the PPT file to which you want to add a watermark, click the [View] tab in the top menu bar, and then select [Slide Master].
2. Insert watermark
In the master view, select the master slide thumbnail at the top, then click the [Insert] tab and select [Text Box] or [Image] to create a watermark.
If it is a text watermark, enter the text you want, such as "Confidential" or "Draft"; if it is an image watermark, select the image file you want to use.
3. Adjust watermark style
Same as "Step 3" of "Method 1", select the text or picture, right-click the mouse and select [Format Text Effect] or [Format Shape] to adjust the style.
4. Apply and close the master view
After completing the settings, click [Close Master View] in the [Slide Master] list in the top menu bar.
After closing, all slides in the PPT will be added with the set watermark. Every time you create a new slide in the future, a watermark will be automatically added.
Notes:
If you find that [Text Box], [Picture], and other options in the menu cannot be clicked when setting a watermark, it is likely that the PPT is protected and the PPT is opened in "read-only mode".
We need to enter the originally set password when opening the PPT and enter the editable mode to add a watermark to the PPT.
If you accidentally forget your password and cannot open the editable mode of PPT, you will need to use other tools to unprotect it.
