Certification details reveal the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra won\'t get charging upgrades

Before the Galaxy S25 series arrives in January 2025, Samsung is expected to still have one more big product launch this year which is believed to be for the its next-gen flagship tablets - Galaxy Tab S10 series. While there is no official launch date yet, details of the new tablets have been circulating, with the latest revealing charging information.

It has been previously reported that there will be only two Galaxy Tab S10 models - the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. It is still not known while there won't be a standard Galaxy Tab S10 model. Nevertheless, the two tablets have been spotted on the 3C database, baring information about their charging speeds.

According to the certifications, the Galaxy Tab S10+ (SM-X820) and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra (SM-X926C) will support 45W fast wired charging, the same charging speeds as their predecessors. While it is not the fastest we've seen on a tablet (the Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 supports 100W fast wired charging), it is still more than decent.

The certifications page mentions the tablets would be sold without an adapter, but that should not be surprising information to anyone. Samsung sells both a 45W PD single port adapter (curr. $23 on Amazon) and a 50W PD dual-port adapter, so you can always grab one if you need it.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Plus and Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra are rumored to launch in October, and when they arrive, they'll be powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9300+. The chipset is a big deal considering Samsung has been using Qualcomm's Snapdragon chips for its flagship tablets for a while.
