The Bittensor protocol utilizes TAO tokens to incentivize open-source artificial intelligence development. The Sui blockchain, on the other hand, serves as a layer-1 smart contract platform for decentralized applications, with SUI as its native token.

These trusts, like Grayscale’s other single-asset investment trusts, provide a unique way to gain exposure to crypto assets without directly acquiring the tokens themselves. This model is exemplified by the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust, which allows investors to gain exposure to Bitcoin through a traditional investment vehicle.

Grayscale has a history of offering crypto investment vehicles, with the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust and Ethereum Trust being notable examples. The Ethereum Trust, which was recently converted into an exchange-traded fund (ETF), has seen a lot of activity. On August 1, the fund experienced outflows of about $78 million, pushing its cumulative outflows over $2 billion. Analysts suggest that these outflows may subside, potentially benefiting Ether.

The institutional interest in crypto assets is growing, and BlackRock’s spot Ether ETF has also seen strong inflows, accumulating nearly $900 million since its launch.
