Self-Proclaimed Billionaire Begged to Be Released

Linus Williams, a self-proclaimed Nigerian cryptocurrency billionaire, has been released on bail after being detained for a few days, a controversial Instagram celebrity has revealed.

According to a recent report, Williams, also known as Blord, was arrested on July 15 following complaints against Blord Group and associated companies. These complaints ranged from cryptocurrency and internet fraud to non-adherence to regulations.

The self-proclaimed billionaire also faces a charge of violating the Central Bank of Nigeria Act.

However, an Instagram post by Verydarkman, a Nigerian celebrity with 300,000 followers on the same social media platform, claimed that Williams, who boasts 3.4 million followers, begged to be released.

“After much begging and crying, Blord is out. He will be returning next week to answer for all his alleged crimes. I believe the Nigeria Police Force — National Cybercrime Center will not compromise, and justice will be upheld. See you next week, Mr. Influential,” the Instagram celebrity said.

Although the Nigerian Police Force had not confirmed the release at the time of writing, Williams appeared to confirm it after he took to social media to signal his return with a cryptic message: “Youth President For A Reason.”

While few details about Williams’ crimes have been made available, some critics argue that the self-proclaimed billionaire is in this predicament due to his actions.
