A marketing lead for SHIB and a prominent figure in the Shiba Inu community, Lucie, has addressed all SHIB holders, warning them about fraudsters attempting to sell counterfeit TREAT tokens.

Lucie once again highlighted to the community that the Shibarium ecosystem token, which is a key aspect of the project, has not yet been released. However, she warned that fraudsters are actively trying to trick the SHIB army into believing otherwise in an attempt to steal their funds.

"Don’t let scammers deceive you. $TREAT IS NOT LAUNCHED YET," Lucie stated, urging everyone to stay vigilant against fraudsters.

SHIB Market Strength Despite Cyber Attack Impact

Lucie shared a daily crypto market chart, showing SHIB’s resilience despite Thursday’s 11% decrease in Shiba Inu value, impacted by the attack on WazirX, India’s largest crypto exchange.

As reported by U.Today, the second-largest meme cryptocurrency, which started the day at $0.00001765, has since surged over 50%, recovering half of its losses. The hacker stole nearly 5.5 trillion SHIB coins, which were then sold for 26,535 ETH or about $92 million.

The enigmatic Shiba Inu lead, Shytoshi Kusama, made an interesting comment on his X account in response to the global IT disruption caused by an update from CrowdStrike, the company behind cybersecurity software Falcon Sensor.

This update paralyzed PCs running Microsoft OS around the world, from airports to the Sky News website, disrupting broadcasts.

The CrowdStrike team is working to resolve the issue. Several key figures in the crypto space, including Elon Musk, Cardano's Charles Hoskinson, Dogecoin's Billy Markus and Shytoshi Kusama, have spoken out against overly centralized Web2 solutions like CrowdStrike and Microsoft.
