Former President Donald Trump to Headline Bitcoin Conference Fundraiser in Nashville

Former President Donald Trump will headline a Bitcoin conference fundraiser in Nashville, with top-tier tickets going for a maximum of $844,600 per person, CNBC reported on Friday.

The event is set to take place on July 27 and will coincide with Trump's anticipated keynote speech at the conference.

According to the report, the premium tickets will get the attendees a seat at a roundtable with Trump. This is also the maximum amount that individuals can donate to Trump and the Republican party's largest joint fundraising committee, the Trump 47 Committee.

Lower-tier tickets will include a photo opportunity with the former president, which are priced at $60,000 per person or $100,000 per couple.

Trump agreed to headline the event at the Music City Center shortly after surviving an assassination attempt on July 13.

Trump has recently emerged as a pro-crypto presidential candidate, which marks a departure from his previous stance during his presidency. His campaign team is accepting digital currency donations, and he has personally pledged to protect the rights of those who choose to self-custody their coins.

Biden administration officials have taken a skeptical approach to crypto regulation. In contrast, Trump named J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), a known advocate for looser crypto regulation, as his running mate. This move is being seen as a win for the crypto sector.

After a meeting with bitcoin mining executives at Mar-a-Lago, Trump said that all future bitcoin will be minted in the U.S. if he returns to the White House.

The crypto contingent has become a key source of cash and votes in this election cycle. This aligns with Trump's broader strategy to position the U.S. as a leader in emerging technologies.

Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban, however, believes that Trump's re-election won't directly impact Bitcoin.

"It might make it easier to operate crypto businesses because of the anticipated changes at the SEC, but that alone won't be the primary driver of Bitcoin's value," Cuban said recently, as reported by BSC.News.
