Google launched this fun diversion to coincide with MWC 2024. But we're hoping that the option to create customized versions of the Android mascot continues long after the tech event finishes. After all, it's one of the fun activities you can do on your Android phone.

First, choose the material you want your Android bot to be made out of. There are 25 in total, ranging from solid colors to oddities like a location-stamped brown suitcase, a circuit board, and a transparent gumball machine.

Once you have settled on a material, choose some clothing for your bot. There are 20 to choose from, or you can opt to keep your mascot naked. The Kill Bill-style leather catsuit and woven astronaut costume are my favorites.

Next up is the accessory. There are 20 of these to choose from, including a pirate's eye patch, a halo, and a wizard's hat. But bunny ears always add a certain touch of class to proceedings.

Last but not least are the props. Once again, there are 20 to choose from, and you can only select one. So, take your time to choose carefully between a guitar and amp, an Xbox controller, a slice of pizza, and many more.

There are thousands of different combinations available, making it very unlikely that you'll create exactly the same Android mascot as anyone you know—unless you both share a very specific design sensibility.

What You Can Do With Your Custom Android Mascot

Once you've finished creating your own Android bot, you can download it for yourself as a PNG file or share the QR code for others to download. Unfortunately, your new Android mascot is just a still image that cannot be integrated into Android in any way—at least for now.
