Garmin launched the Venu 3S smartwatch in late 2023at $449.99, and it brought with it a number of neat smartwatch and fitness features, including on-device music storage, improved sleep tracking, and a built-in speaker and microphone. Now, thanks to a new deal at the Amazon-owned Woot store, the Sage Grey Venu 3S is discounted to a more reasonable $349.99 — down 22% from its MSRP.
The Garmin Venu 3S, being a relatively recent release from Garmin, counts itself among the smartwatches with Garmin's skin temperature sensing, which helps improve sleep tracking capabilities. Aside from that, the Venu 3S also features the usual GPS and GNSS support, tracking for over 30 sports right out the box, and expandability via Garmin's app library. The Venu 3S also has an ECG sensor, enabling it to more accurately track heart rhythms, and a SPO2 sensor to give you a snapshot of your circulatory health.
The Venu 3S claims to serve 10 days on a charge in smartwatch mode, although using location and fitness sensors and tracking will certainly be more power-intensive. The 1.2-inch AMOLED display with always-on functionality are also sure to be convenient, especially when functioning as a regular smartwatch.
The stainless steel smartwatch also allows you to forego taking your phone on runs with you, thanks to 8 GB of on-device storage for music and fitness tracking data. When you do have your phone on you, though, the built-in microphone and speaker in the Venu 3S allow you to respond to messages and answer phone calls if necessary.
