ORA-01589: must use RESETLOGS or NORESETLOGS option for database open

The ORACLE database virtual machine was cloned. The database was not closed during the cloning. When the cloning was completed, an error occurred and the database was enabled and could not be started.

Cause:

The database stopped abnormally. When it stopped, it was forced to SHUTDOWN before it had time to archive the LOG in the cache area.

When the database starts again, it will check the SCN system change code. If inconsistencies are found, it means that there are inconsistent LOGs that need to be processed.

What should I do if the archive log does not contain the required sequence number?
