The video source file is 1080p, more than 3000 kbps video, about four minutes in length.
On the PC side, I compressed it to 720p, 1000kbps, and the size is about 30M.
But if it is to be placed on the mobile terminal, I feel that the size is still a bit large, but I can’t decide how to compress it. Such as width, height, bit rate, etc. Too much compression is not good, but too much definition is a waste.
Are there any seniors who have experience in this area? How to choose a parameter that is suitable for most mobile devices?

"Applicable to most mobile devices" depends on the denominator: which market, the general profile of users, so if you want to be serious, you need to do some user profile research.

For general principles, here is a somewhat outdated and flash-based document, but you can still refer to: Best Practices for Mobile Device Video Player Optimization Table 2. Mobile video encoding guidelines for H.264

Video size 512 x 288 Frame rate 25 fps (PAL) 23.976 (film) 29.97 (NTSC) (*) Profile Baseline Level 2.2 Bitrates 100−800 kbps
