memcache supports various operating systems such as windows and linux.

Installation steps under windows

(64-bit) Download address:

Installation:

1 Extract the installation package to the hard disk,

2 Enter the 'drive letter' in the terminal (i.e. cmd command interface): \memcached installation package location\memcached.exe -d install' Install

3 Drive letter:\memcached installation package location\memcached.exe -d start' Start.

NOTE: In the future, memcached will be automatically started as a service of Windows every time you boot up. The server side has now been installed.

Installing under Linux

centOs: Directly execute yum install memcached to install successfully.

Execute service memcached start to open memcahe

Debian/Ubuntu: apt-get install libevent-dev Redhat/Centos: yum install libevent-devel
wget http://memcached.org/latest
tar -zxvf memcached-1.x.x.tar.gz
cd memcached-1.x.x
./configure && make && make test && sudo make install

View status

telnet localhost 11211

Enter stats to view, and command quit to exit.

Modify configuration file

/etc/sysconfig/memcached
