Recently, Rivian, an emerging American electric vehicle manufacturer, released its second-quarter delivery data. The news came from July 4. According to reports, the company delivered 13,992 vehicles in the second quarter, a 59% increase from the previous quarter, exceeding the estimate of 12,562 units; it also delivered 12,640 electric vehicles, exceeding the estimate of 11,302 units. By the end of the first half of 2023, Li Auto's delivery volume has exceeded the delivery volume for all of last year. Rivian's current quarterly deliveries stand at just 12,640 vehicles, representing a mere 14% of Ideal Motors' delivery volume.

Nevertheless, overall, the emerging electric vehicle market has performed well recently. Previously, Rivian issued a statement stating that starting in 2024, Rivian owners will be able to use adapters to charge at Tesla’s Supercharger stations, and starting in 2025, Tesla-style charging ports will be used as standard on its vehicles and uses Tesla’s charging standards. Rivian CEO R.J. Scaringe said the deal would give buyers of Rivian electric pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles better access to Tesla's vast network of charging stations.
