Could Beats Fit Pro replace AirPods Pro as your go-to wireless earbuds?
Launched in November, the Beats Fit Pro are the latest wireless earbuds from Apple-branded Beats. While people are still waiting for the upcoming second-generation AirPods Pro, does Beats Fit Pro have the ability to replace Apple's AirPods Pro? Below is my experience so far.
When Beats launched the Beats Fit Pro with a more Apple-like experience, I couldn't wait to try it on my ears. The Beats vs. AirPods Pro comparison is great because the Beats Fit Pro have almost everything you'd expect from Apple's wireless earbuds: great battery life, active noise cancellation, transparency mode, Dolby Atmos, easy pairing, and easy switching of Apple device features between. Additionally, Beats Fit Pro features an innovative wingtip design that not only allows the earbuds to fit into the ear, but also adds a hook to further secure the fit.

While I’ve never had any fit issues with the AirPods, I’m always eager to try new shapes. Personally, I can say that the Beats Fit Pro fit my ears perfectly, but the wingtips started to really bother me after a few hours—especially when I wore them at work. On the other hand, working out is really nice and comfortable. For example, enjoy a 50-minute run with these earbuds.
What impressed me most was the sound quality of Beats Fit Pro. Overall, Apple always has a good approach to the sound quality of its earbuds, but I really appreciate the Beats' rich bass. Whenever I work out, I really want to feel the beat of music while I run, and these earbuds are perfect for that.
I’m not saying the AirPods Pro sound bad — far from it — but the right playlist and Beats Fit Pro are a perfect match.
Beats Fit Pro isn’t always heaven on earth

That said, there are a few things that annoy me about Beats' new wireless earbuds. The case is still a bit cumbersome to hold in my jeans. Don't take it personally, if you compare the Beats to the Powerbeats Pro case, the Beats are 1000% better, but come on, all AirPods fit in any pocket you put them in - except the AirPods Max - and I still will forever Take it and put the bud in the box. I always misplace it and I don't even know why.
Last but not least, I don’t like pressing buttons in my ears. Since the actual earbuds are so small, I always start or stop a song every time I adjust them on my ears. Not only that, but if I'm running and want to play another song, I have to be very careful to press the earbuds against my ears, otherwise the pressure and clicking sounds in my head bother me.
But there are still features to like

Besides all the Apple experiences, I really think Beats Fit Pro uses a USB-C cable to charge very funny. Glad I can use the same cable for my MacBook Pro, iPad Air, iPad mini, and Nintendo Switch.
Another benefit is battery life. When you use active noise cancellation or transparency mode, you have up to six hours of listening time. With just Adaptive EQ enabled, the number increases to 7 hours. The charging case adds 21 hours of battery life.
While AirPods Pro give you more listening time while you charge the earbuds, Beats Fit Pro delivers a longer experience on a single charge.
Finally, Beats Fit Pro also has some color options that AirPods Pro don’t offer. Beats is also known for special editions of its headphones, which means the company will soon be releasing a pair of newly designed Beats Fit Pros to make you feel unique.
Who won the battle? AirPods Pro or Beats Fit Pro?

#At $199, the Beats Fit Pro are a pretty solid option, but keep in mind that AirPods Pro can usually be found for around $180 (official price is $249). If you care about powerful bass and AirPods don't fit your ears, don't think too hard: Beats Fit Pro is the product of choice. This is also a good choice for those who like to focus while exercising. Additionally, here’s what 9to5Mac’s Chance Miller had to say about the Beats Fit Pro in his review of the product:
“At the end of the day, the Beats Fit Pro is a very compelling choice, thanks to its Great sound quality and design, versatile compatibility with Apple and Android devices, and a sub-$200 price point. Between this release of the Beats Fit Pro, the affordable Beats Studio Buds, and more, Beats seems to be going all-in with the Go and thrive inside Apple.”
With Beats Fit Pro, you get almost all the features of AirPods, but with better ear shape. That said, if the wingtips look uncomfortable, go for the AirPods Pro because these earbuds deliver such a great experience.
