We usually use pictures when writing blogs or markdown. Once the markdown file is viewed offline, it will be difficult to maintain and display the pictures inside. At this time, you need to use a picture bed to use a network address for the pictures.

Why choose Gitee? Comparison:

• Alibaba Cloud OSS, Tencent Cloud COS, Qiniu Tubed and other paid services

• GitHub has free space, but the access speed is too fast Slow, it depends on luck.

• Gitee has fast access speed, but the upper limit of a single warehouse is 500M, a single file is 50M, and the total user warehouse space is 5G. Taking everything into consideration, we can only choose Gitee because of its fast speed. The single database limit of 500M is barely enough. After one database is used up, we can create a new one.

After the picture storage problem is solved, you need a tool that can quickly upload and convert it into a link. The PicGo picture tool is recommended here. The so-called picture bed tool is a tool that automatically converts local pictures into links. Of course, PicGo not only supports Gitee, but also other github, Alibaba Cloud OSS, Tencent Cloud COS, etc.

Gitee Settings

After completing the Gitee account registration, create a public warehouse:

Find in order: Settings --Private token--Generate new token

First unselect all, then check projects, and then submit:

You are prompted to enter your gitee account password, just enter it.

Now you have obtained the private token, click Copy, save the token first and PicGo will use it later.

Note: After the window is closed, the private token will no longer be viewable.

gitee picture bed also has certain limitations: If you upload a picture larger than 1MB, the picture cannot be displayed after it is inserted into the markdown editor. We can first use an image compression tool to compress the image to less than 1MB, and then use Picgo to upload it to gitee for use.

settings - ->Plug-in settings, search gietee.

Click to install

gitee-uploader 1.1.2, and you can install it smoothly.

Note: If nodejs is not installed, you will be prompted and jump to guide you to install it. After completion, restart PicGo and search again.

nodeJs does not support win7 system until 14.0.0. You can only choose the previous version. The newer one is version 13.14.0

Enter the PicGo setting interface and find gitee on the left. Follow the figure below to configure the gitee image bed.

New version of Typora can be set up to upload with one click.

Click in turn: File--Preferences--Image, and configure as shown below:

Note: Select PicGo(app) for the upload service, and PicGo path select the installation directory to start the program.
