Use phpMyadmin to add users and set permissions
1. Create a new database:
After entering the phpmyadmin management interface, find the following text "Create a new database", Then fill in the name of the database to be created below, select the database encoding in the drop-down list, usually "gb2312_chinese_bin", and click the "Create" button to create a new database.
2. Create a new account corresponding to this database
Click "Permissions" in the phpmyadmin management interface, open the link, click "Add New User", and you will see "Login Information" on the page that opens ", after entering the user name, host (usually local: localhost), and password, because we now need to configure the permissions of a single database for a single user, we do not select "Global Permissions" here, and then click "Execute" at the bottom ” button to create a new username.
3. Add this database permission to the new user
After adding the user, the top of the management interface will prompt "You have added a new user". We will now give the new user To add permissions, find "Specify permissions by database" below, then click the drop-down list behind "Add permissions in the following databases", select the database, select all under the data, and then select the checkboxes except the bottom three of the structure. Leave all others unchecked, and then click the "Execute" button. This will configure the user's permissions to fully manage the database.
Note: Because we only want to give this user all permissions to manage this database, but do not have management permissions for other databases, we must pay attention when configuring permissions.
