Notepad++ displays Chinese garbled characters

Notepad Chinese garbled characters have been bothering me for a long time. Many methods on the Internet have no effect. They said that the font style was changed to Chinese imitating Song Dynasty, but I couldn’t find any Chinese fonts. I saw it added later on Zhihu After reading the article about Yahei fonts, I realized that the font library used by Notepad is in C:\Windows\Fonts. (Recommended learning: notepad )

But the Chinese fonts are all in the Fonts folder, why can’t Notepad add them?

Later, try to copy the Song Dynasty font to the desktop, and then put it back into C:\Windows\Fonts. It will show that the font is being installed, and then reopen Notepad to have the Song Dynasty font. The choice is available.

Note that you cannot select @华文imitate Song Dynasty, otherwise the Chinese characters will lie horizontally, and you must also check "Use global fonts". Do the same for other Chinese fonts.
