Restart

The classic network instance must settle the bill and restart it within 7 days after the shutdown due to arrears. Otherwise, the instance will be released and all data cannot be recovered.

Within 15 days after the VPC instance is shut down due to arrears, it will enter the arrears recovery process from Expired at any time. Before entering the overdue collection process, you can settle the bill and restart your phone. If the reboot is successful at this time, all resources will be retained and will not be affected. After the instance enters the Overdue Recovery status, you can still settle the bill and restart it. However, the restart may fail. Please try again after a period of time or submit a work order to solve the problem. If the bill cannot be settled and restarted within 15 days, the instance will be released and all data cannot be recovered.

Note

If the account is not restarted after settling the bill, the VPC instance will be automatically released 15 days from the date of arrears, and the classic network instance will be automatically released 7 days from the date of arrears. Data is not recoverable.

Operation steps

Follow the following steps to restart:

Log in to the ECS management console.

In the left navigation bar, click Instances.

Select a region.

Select the instance that needs to be restarted, and at the bottom of the instance list, select More > Restart.

Choose to reboot immediately or set a reboot time.

If you choose to restart immediately, the selected instance will enter normal operation in about 10 minutes.
