ARC Raiders: Top Loot Spots on Stella Montis Map

ARC Raiders has already introduced its fifth map only two weeks after release, offering a unique playstyle compared to the existing options in the game. While light weapons and shotguns reign supreme for fast-paced PvP, the most exciting aspect of this close-quarters map is the absurd amount of high-rarity loot there is to find.

Even if you've already completed your initial quests for Stella Montis, there are still plenty of reasons to revisit this deadly map, as it's an excellent place to farm for end-game materials, Blueprints, and plenty of crafting materials with ease. While the high and medium loot value areas shown on the map are great places to start, you'll need to go in with plenty of ammo to come out on top against other raiders.

General Tips For Looting On Stella Montis

Before taking a look at any specific looting spots, the first thing you'll need to keep in mind when raiding on Stella Montis is how to deal with its variety of enemies. While you won't face any larger ARC enemies on this map, Pops, Fireballs, and the brand-new Shredder enemy can easily overwhelm you if you're not careful.

Given that Pops and Fireballs can be easily taken out with light ammo weapons, and how tanky Shredders can be even with heavy ammo, there isn't as much of a need to bring in dedicated anti-ARC weaponry. With Shredders relatively easy to avoid or lock away behind doors, your best bet is to focus on lighter PvP weapons to carry out more loot with.

There will also be several locked storage rooms scattered around the map that require you to collect nearby fuel cells to gain access to them. While the four fuel cell requirements would normally be a challenge, you can often find slots in areas like the lobby or Sandbox with four fuel cells waiting to be grabbed on by one.

Best Looting Spots On The Lower Floor Of Stella Montis

The lower floors of Stella Montis might not have as many outright looting spots as the upper half, but that doesn't mean there aren't plenty of worthwhile locations to check out with even less competition.

Starting with the Seed Vault, there are several high-value looting spots and raider bags that are more than worth the risky trek down, but you won't want to stay there for too long with its obvious map marker.

Similar to Blue Gate, Stella Montis will have puzzle Supply Drops that require you to activate its terminal, then follow the similarly colored signage to its lootable drop-off points.

Thankfully, unless you're in desperate need of seeds and other rare plant-related resources, you can leave fairly quickly after checking for Raider Bags and Weapon Crates that might have spawned while other players duke it out for the remaining rewards.

Heading over into the sandbox after checking around Seed Vault, there are several offices and smaller locker rooms that can have quick looting opportunities with increased drop rates, which have the chance to drop Blueprints and other rare crafting materials.

There are often several Shredders or a turret in this area as well, making it a good idea to take out the turret and lure the rest out afterward.

Once you've made it to the staging area of the Sandbox itself, you'll find several breachable machinery and Lunar Rovers in this area have some pretty great drop rates, with a storage room in proximity as well for additional high-value loot.

Even if the Loading Bay itself doesn't have much greater loot on its own, I've found the side rooms are often left ignored as players use this area to rush to extractions or other sides of the map, making it a relatively safe place to look for loot later on during a raid.

Best Looting Spots On The Upper Floor Of Stella Montis

The upper floor is where you'll find the most heavy player activity by far on a typical raid, but that also means there's an even greater number of spots to check out for loot.

Starting with the Cultural Archives, you'll find an overabundance of residential loot and high-tier valuables, which have surprisingly few players contesting them, given that most of the items are only good to sell for coins, rather than quests or crafting. Moving up from the Cultural Archives, the Auditorium at the south end of the business center has a treasure trove of containers to loot.

After you're down there, the Lobby is one of the riskier locations, given that it's a high-traffic area with plenty of ARC enemies, but if you can sneak by or make friends with a few fellow raiders, there's a significant amount of security, technological materials, and weapons.

The conveyor belts through the Lobby security checkpoint have a good chance of spawning raider bags to loot.

The Medical Research area is easily one of the best looting spots in ARC Raiders' Stella Montis map for its overabundance of not only valuable medical supplies, but high-value technological items as well. Unfortunately, this is also one of the most hotly contested areas on the map, which is why I would suggest avoiding it unless you have a good loadout or a free one you aren't afraid of losing.

The last but certainly not least place you'll want to hit every raid is the area just above the Assembly side of Stella Montis. Aside from dropping Exodus and Technological loot that's hard to find anywhere else, there are plenty of loot spots that players will skip over entirely.

There are two major turbines in the assembly workshops, with one that needs to be vaulted onto, and the other sitting on the ground with a black and yellow frame.

The first great spot to hit in this area is the two workshop rooms that can be quickly searched while on the go, but the assembly line, workshops, and inside the hanging rocket thrusters have the potential to spawn some incredibly valuable loot that doesn't have as much risk, especially with the close proximity of a nearby raider hatch to safely extract.
