How to Customize App Borders and Shadows on Windows 10
Almost throughout the history of the Windows operating system, users have been able to customize the appearance of applications.

How to custom apply borders and window shadows
First, we'll show you how to change the color of your app's borders, and then we'll show you how to turn the shadow effect on or off. To change the color, follow these steps:
- Open the Settings app.
- Click Personalize .
- Select a color in the left menu.
- You can choose a system preset color, or click Custom Color and manually enter an RGB or hexadecimal (hex) color code.
- Scroll down to the Show accent color on the following surfaces option.
- Check the box next to Title Bar .
If you want to add a shadow effect to your app window, follow these steps:
- Go to Control Panel > System and Security > System > Advanced system settings .
- Switch to the Advanced tab.
- Click Settings in the Performance area.
- Switch to the Visual Effects tab.
- Check the Custom option.
- Check or uncheck the Show window shadow option as desired.
- Click Apply .
- Finally click OK to complete the settings.
