5 "robot dogs" assist night patrol

Technological empowerment is a major feature of fire security at this CIIE. In order to ensure fire safety during the entire period of the Sixth CIIE, Shanghai Fire Protection established a 16-person "Nighthawk Team" to carry out night patrols. At the same time, it also invested in five "robot dogs" for the first time to carry out night auxiliary patrols.

This kind of robot is equipped with infrared temperature measurement and thermal imaging, which can independently detect high temperature of equipment and common fire hazard risks, including piles of objects occupying passages, electrical equipment not shutting down properly, illegal smoking and other hidden dangers.

The fire security of this CIIE also introduced the "Eagle Eye" fire monitoring and early warning system.

In order to strengthen the social fire prevention and control work around the National Exhibition and Convention Center, the fire department developed and upgraded the two "Eagle Eyes" set up in the south and north squares of the National Exhibition and Convention Center, achieving a "Eagle Eye"-centered , automatic detection of abnormal temperature and smoke within a radius of 6 kilometers. In addition, "Eagle Eye" also marks important buildings, traffic roads, fire water sources, garrison forces and other information within 500 meters of the National Convention and Exhibition Center in the system, and can view fire hydrant pressure, pipe diameter and other parameters in real time.
