The batteries will be supplied from Tata's new factory in Bridgewater, Somerset, which is scheduled to start production in 2026.

Adrian Mader said the deal with Avinya has nothing to do with Jaguar Land Rover's other production plants in the UK or continental Europe and will not have an impact on them. The Avinya car is not expected to be sold in Europe.
