Visual China notified Dai Jianfeng that his public account infringed on the use of 173 photos and needed to compensate Visual China More than 80,000 yuan in China.

Dai Jianfeng discovered that the so-called infringing works sent by Visual China totaled 173 photos, all of which were Dai Jianfeng’s own photography. And Dai Jianfeng has never cooperated with Visual China - he has not signed a contract with Visual China, has not authorized Visual China, and has not uploaded a Visual China gallery. Now he is being ridiculously claimed for losses by Visual China.

The sales authorization chain of the pictures is clear and complete.”

At 9:40 am on August 16, 2021, Dai Jianfeng responded to Visual China’s statement and continued to condemn its infringement

“I do not accept your point of view. I have verified with Stocktrek, Stocktrek clearly informed me:

@VisionChina does not have the right to sell my works, nor does it own any copyright in my works. Getty also has no right to sublicense my works again

On the same day, a reporter from Hualong.com called Stocktrek Company. The company stated:

One hour ago, a @VisualChina representative called the company, and the company also clearly informed that Dai Jianfeng’s related works need to be deleted from the Visual China website. Regarding the next step, the staff member told reporters that the Getty platform will also contact Visual China to remove Dai Jianfeng’s works.

At 12:12 on August 18, Dai Jianfeng published a post on Weibo, saying that he had received death threats. However, he said that he will continue to defend his legal rights

At 15:22 on August 18, the official public account of the China Adventure Association issued a statement saying: Support member and contracted photographer Dai Jianfeng to defend his rights to Visual China in accordance with the law.
