As pointed out by Edge enthusiast @Leopeva64, the browser’s experimental platform Edge Canary is experimenting with a switch that will allow users to activate or deactivate the "text rewrite" feature. This toggle can be found in the Settings app, specifically in the Language >Writing Help category.

“When it’s on, you’ll get help writing on the web using artificial intelligence, allowing you to generate writing , elaborate on ideas, rewrite, change tone, format, etc.,” the description for the switch reads.

If you recall, Redmond's team has been experimenting with a highly practical Bing rewrite feature since earlier this month. As mentioned before, you can effortlessly select the text you want to reword and then instruct Bing AI to rephrase it using a variety of tones, structures, and lengths. Additionally, you can activate this feature using the keyboard shortcut Alt I.
