Intel Corporation announced the successful issuance of green bonds, raising US$1.25 billion in funds and investing US$425 million within the first year

Intel said it will allocate 34% of funding proceeds to five project categories, including pollution prevention and control, water management, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and circular economy and waste management

Intel is committed to using 100% renewable energy, clean water and zero waste to landfill in its global operations, as well as achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions from its global operations by 2040.
