Day 02: Cutout method of light effect materials
We When downloading some light effect materials from the Internet, you often encounter pictures with black backgrounds, which are generally used for special effects in games. Normally, color filtering and other methods are used to extract such materials, but you will find that the color filtering mode will cause problems such as brightening of the picture and color aberration. And the general cutout method often leaves black, so what is the solution?
#The answer is to remove the black component by reconstructing the color channel.
First of all, let’s take a look at the original picture
First of all, We open this picture in PS and create three new blank layers, named "R", "G" and "B" respectively
Turn off the visibility of the "G" and "B" layers, and set the foreground color as follows
Next, enter "Channel", Ctrl-click the thumbnail with the left mouse button, and select the red channel.
#After the selection appears, click the "RGB" channel. Return to the layer, fill it with the red foreground color at this time, hold down Alt Delete and fill
Similarly, give G respectively Set the foreground color of the layer as follows (turn off the R layer and B layer)
The foreground settings of layer B are as follows
# #Follow the steps for the R layer, the status of the layer after completion
##Change the layer mode of all three layers to "Screen"
Look at the effect
##In this way, the light effect is perfectly extracted. Isn’t it amazing? At this time, if we add a black layer to it, it will be exactly the same as the original image
