Recently deployed a new environment, I use PHP7+nginx. The old version of NoSQL uses memcache. I plan to use redis in the new version, so I installed the redis extension.
In fact, there is nothing to pay attention to when installing redis extension , the main thing is to pay attention to whether the extension supports the PHP version when downloading the extension. Other installation methods are the same as the usual PHP extension installation methods.
1. Download
Download address:
I put the download directory under /data/download/php
cd to the download directory, download: wget
2. Unzip
Extract to the current directory tar -zxvf redis-3.1.2.tgz
3. Install
cd redis-3.1.2 directory
Use phpize to generate the configure configuration file in this directory: run /usr/local/php7/bin/phpize# directly
## Then the configuration, compilation, and installation are all completed in this directory
## ./configure --with-php-config=/usr/ local/php7/bin/php-config## make
make install
make install You will see Installing shared extensions: /usr/local/php7/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20160303/
This directory is the redis.so file Generated directory
ll /usr/local/php7/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20160303/
Seeing redis.so means the installation is successful
4. Configure to support PHP7:
Add extension=redis.so
## :wq!
5 .Restart nginx, actually restart php-fpm
##Another method is:
##The phpredis extension downloaded from pecl reported an error in make. I googled it and found the solution. Because phpredis has a branch specifically for php7, so first git clone phpredis down
git clone https://github.com/nicolasff/phpredisgit checkout php7
php7/bin/phpize./configure --with-php-config=php7/bin/php-configmake && make install
