String input

There are generally two methods of input used in Python, input() and raw_input(). The difference is that the former can only be input Numbers, the latter input is a string, use the following:

In [226]: help(input)

Help on built-in function input in module __builtin__:

input(...)
    input([prompt]) -> value

    Equivalent to eval(raw_input(prompt)).

In [229]: input()

String output

Use print for output, you can add variables after it, or you can use it directly ", ' and ''' to include strings. Examples of use are as follows:

  • can be used under normal circumstances. You can use one to contain a string, and the string can contain another One type (but it cannot contain the same type, otherwise it needs to be escaped)

In [241]: print "i'm Tom"
i'm Tom

In [242]: print 'abc'
abc

In [243]: print "abc"
abc

In [244]: print '''abc'''

numeric characters For string conversion

just use str() or int(). There is nothing to say, as follows:

In [257]: n = raw_input()

Out[258]: '123'

Out[260]: 123

In [261]: str(n)
Out[261]: '123'
