Solution to Chinese garbled characters under character terminal

My RedHat9 character terminal always displays garbled Chinese characters. I found some information on the Internet today and finally solved it.
First go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/zhcon/files/ to download zhcon-0.2.5.tar.gz and zhcon-0.2.5-to-0.2.6.diff.gz, download them and put them in / tmp.

tar zxvf zhcon-0.2.5.tar.gz cd zhcon-0.2.5 zcat ../zhcon-0.2.5-to-0.2.6.diff.gz | patch -p1 ./configure make make install

Then just run zhcon
