How to connect member registration and login with the app

[A newbie who has learned PHP for more than two months has no idea how to start, and has no idea at all. Note: The backend code already exists, and this function should be added to the original basis, but I think I don’t know what part to look at in other people’s code]
I have written my own website using the TP framework before. The registration and login function is just an ordinary web login. I have never been exposed to accepting SMS to verify login, and I don’t understand it at all. Could anyone who knows please give me some ideas on how to go about doing this

Generate a limited-time token for each user. Then submit personal information to verify the TOKEN value when logging in. Bring the token with each subsequent data request
