Operating system: Windows 7 Ultimate

WEB Server: IIS 6.1 (Build 7600).

Database: MySql5.0.67

PHP version: 5.2.13

I was also worried that it might be incompatible under Win7, but it turned out that there was no problem at all.

1. Install MySql database

Download the MySql database here: http://www.mysql.com/downloads/

Download the client tool Navicat here: http://www.navicat.com/cn/download/download.html. I downloaded the Win32 Lite version, which supports Oracle and MySql.

The installation of the database is relatively simple. When you encounter the multiple-choice setting interface, just choose according to your own needs.

Navicat’s main interface is as follows:

2. Install PHP

Before installation, open the Control Panel - Uninstall a program - Turn Windows features on or off - Internet Information Services - World Wide Web Services - Check CGI in the application development function (the default is not checked).

I directly downloaded an MSI integrated installation package, download PHP here: http://php.net/downloads.php, download Windows Binaries/PHP 5.2.13 installer. After the download is complete, just run the installation directly. In the following interface, I chose IIS FastCGI:

This way the PHP environment is configured:

Publish a site in IIS, then create index.php and write the following simple code:

php
echo "hello world!";
?>

After running, the page outputs hello world! , the environment configuration is successful.

3. PHP development tools

EditPlus, Zend Studio, etc. are all fine. You can search online for this. I have tried these two.

Let’s look at EditPlus first:

Zend Studio has just been installed but not used yet. Here is the main interface:

During this period, I found VS.PHP for Visual Studio 2010, but it was only a 30-day version. It would cost money to get the genuine version, so I had to give up.

Download Zend Studio, the latest version is 7.2: http://www.zend.com/en/products/studio/downloads
