关于php base64函数的一些疑问
一直对这个函数有不懂的地方
先上手册上的解释 此种编码是为了使二进制数据可以通过非纯 8-bit 的传输层传输，例如电子邮件的主体。 
但是我看到好多对一些配置文件还有一些别的东西进行base64编码，这样可能是为了传输的完整性，除了我猜想的这个还有其他的好处没
一直不解的是 ， 为什么要进行这样的编码，有什么好处
加上一些开源的东西上也用到这个 ，实在是不明白，所以特来高手云集的CSDN上找答案
