VAXEE XE V2 Wireless Review
Introduction
Founded in 2019 by the original creators of Zowie, VAXEE is a brand that specializes in gaming peripherals and operates its own direct-to-consumer platform. The company has been actively refining its earlier wireless models by overhauling internal components to achieve a much lighter build—without adopting common weight-saving tactics like open-bottom shells or perforated designs. The XE V2 Wireless, for instance, now tips the scales at just 59 grams, a full 19 grams lighter than its predecessor. It features the advanced PixArt PAW3950 sensor, replacing the older PAW3395, while retaining Huano switches for the primary buttons and an ALPS mechanical encoder for the scroll wheel. Like all of VAXEE’s recent wireless offerings, this model comes with a USB High-Speed dongle that supports polling rates up to 4000 Hz in wireless mode, enhancing performance for competitive use. Battery life is rated at up to 110 hours at 1000 Hz and up to 30 hours when running at 4000 Hz. Users can customize settings directly on the device via button combinations or through a convenient web-based driver. The VAXEE XE V2 Wireless is sold exclusively through the VAXEE store in a range of colors: Obsidian Black, Pink, White, Lake Green, Red, and Fluorescent Green.
