Ghost is a versatile Hunter in Supervive. Not considered to be one of the strongest in the game, he nonetheless has a lot of value from his long-range poke, great CC and stuns from his grenade, and zoning control with his Ultimate. He's a little slow to get going in the early game, but once you have a few items, he becomes very strong.

Ghost Build Basics

Supervive: Ghost Build Guide

Here's an overview of the best weapons to grab on Ghost and the best skill priority order.

Best Weapons To Take

Ghost has a couple of interesting builds that we'll cover in-depth. As standard, we tend to go:

  • Techblade into Interweaver.
  • Manablade into Rampage.

Alternative (and situational) builds include:

  • Techblade into Amplifier.
  • Techblade into Power User.

The Techblade is a great weapon choice on Ghost because it improves your ability haste (you'll be able to snipe more regularly with your long-range damage) and improves your Ability Power.

The Manablade is also a must-have because Ghost can run into mana problems if he's using multiple spells (it's for this reason we also recommend you or someone on your team picking up mana-related powers, like Mana Cloud or Mana Battery) but the upgrade of the Manablade is more situational.

In most cases, we recommend Rampage for its multiplying damage after hitting multiple spells. Situationally, though, the Amplifier Ghost build is a lot of fun - you basically just stack your max ability haste on your Q ability (Arcane Railgun) to become a poke monster. Power User can be usable if you've cracked three or more vaults

in the game.<script> googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('adsninja-ad-unit-1707942439796-6115d5692e6734'); }); </script>

Skill Overview

  • Combat Rush (Passive) - Ghost's passive is very simple: knocking someone resets the cooldown on your dash.
  • Spike Grenade (RMB) - This is Ghost's primary CC ability, and if used correctly it can be devastating. The aim is to throw the grenade on to a wall so that it explodes outwards in a cone, dazing enemies. Any enemies that are thrown onto a wall are also stunned.
  • Combat Slide (SHIFT Dash) - Combat slide allows Ghost to slide along the floor. Cancel the Dash before the end of the slide and the cooldown is reduced. It's pretty small compared to other Hunter's dashes, but Ghost turns quickly in the slide, allowing to dodge in and out behind terrain if needed.
  • Arcane Railgun (Q) - Arcane Railgun is Ghost's primary damage dealing ability - it is an ultra-long-range shot that pierces terrain and enemies. It does 30% extra damage to Dazed enemies - so in an ideal world you combo it with the Spike Grenade. Its cooldown is also reset by 30% if you actually hit an enemy with it.
  • Summon Napalm (R Ultimate) - Ghost's Ultimate ability is an AoE napalm ring that deals ticking damage to enemies, increasing the closer they are to the center of the ring. It's a great zoning tool or very powerful when combined with a mass-stun like Void's ultimate.

Skill Priority

Firstly, level your Dash at level one. Then take your grenade, and lastly, your Arcane Railgun.

The Railgun is fairly weak early on, and it's better to prioritize your stun and your dash.
  • Level 1 - Dash
  • Level 2 - Spike Grenade
  • Level 3 - Arcane Railgun
  • Level 4 - Dash
  • Level 5 - Ultimate

Then you want to max your Arcane Railgun

for plenty of damage and poke in to the late-game. Once you've got upgraded items and some levels under your belt, the Railgun starts to deal excellent damage.<script> googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('adsninja-ad-unit-1707942439796-6115d5692e6734'); }); </script>

Ghost Gameplay Tips

Supervive: Ghost Build Guide

Ghost is very useful in endgame rings because he can pressure enemies from a distance. Landing a well-aimed Railgun can knock enemy health down by as much as 20%, and it can hit multiple enemies. This either gives your team a window to engage or prevents the enemy from pushing your spot in the ring.

Early on, Ghost is all about taking his time, trying to land well-placed Spike Grenades in fights, and pressuring enemies with his low but precise mobility. Like other Hunters in Supervive, being successful with Ghost is all about knowing your limits: when to push, when to retreat, and when to follow-up on any damage from Railgun.

Best Ghost Team Compositions

Ghost plays well with a number of compositions as a primary or secondary damage dealer. We wouldn't rely on Ghost solely

for damage because he does require a frontliner - like Oath, Felix, or Hudson - and someone to support him when he engages in a team fight.

An ideal team composition might look like: Myth, Oath, Hudson, and Ghost.

Myth provides great zoning and a combo between her arrow zoning ability and Ghost's Spike Grenade can be devastating. Oath and Hudson can follow up on any damage that Ghost lands on enemy teams from range.

Alternatively, Hunters like Bishop, Felix, Elluna, and Void all complement Ghost's playstyle.
