Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Unwelcome Guests Walkthrough
Dragon Age: The Veilguard - Unwelcome Guests Walkthrough
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is packed with dozens of quests and dangerous missions to complete, though sometimes all you need to do is defeat some enemies. In Unwelcome Guests, your only objective is to cleanse the area of Venatori soldiers, leaving you to track them down and dispose of them as you see fit.

Luckily, beginning with the Chamber of the Unforged, the map is fairly linear and shouldn't pose too many navigation issues. There are some extra pathways for you to explore in the area, but they're unnecessary to your objective. Prepare to face a challenging foe alongside plenty of Venatori soldiers.
How To Clear Out The Venatori Soldiers

Your primary task is to defeat two groups of Venatori soldiers in the area, both of which are marked on your map.
From the Chamber Of The Unforged, head up the stairs and follow your marker through the archway into a large room: the Hollow Belfy, Lower area.

Follow your marker through a door on the left and into a large hallway area called the Path Of Sighs.
Hit the red trigger with your weapon, which will unlock the door blocking your path. With the door out of the way, head into a larger hallway filled with the first group of soldiers to defeat.
Defeat The First Venatori Group

Clear out the Venatori soldiers, exploiting their weaknesses to Cold to clear them out quickly.
The soldiers shouldn't prove much of a challenge, and with this first group out of the way, you're halfway done with Unwelcome Guests.

From the hallway, take the door to the southwest to Progress further along your quest.
Another red door on the right-hand side leads back to that first central Belfry room.
You will know you're on the right path if you pass through a room with a giant skull in the middle; follow the marker through the door on the left.

Before you pass through the door, prepare to fight a level 30 boss-tier enemy.
Once you defeat the Burgeoning Malice boss, head through the room to the exit door to find the next Venatori group.
Defeat The Second Venatori Group

Shortly after reaching a large room, you'll see some Venatori soldiers wandering around – this is the second group you need to defeat.
Luckily, this group is easy to defeat, especially compared to the boss fight you just endured, so enjoy the cathartic and simple fight these soldiers offer.
What Rewards Do You Get From Unwelcome Guests?

Once the Venatori soldiers are defeated, Unwelcome Guests will be completed, earning you the following rewards:
- Gold
- XP
- Materials
- A class-specific piece of gear
