The co-founder of BitMEX, Arthur Hayes, has just expressed his optimism for Goatseus Maximus, the Solana joke coin, in an X post.

The co-founder of BitMEX, Arthur Hayes, has suggested that Goatseus Maximus (CRYPTO: GOAT) could be set for a 10X price rally after getting a key mention from Bloomberg’s Matt Levine, sparking market interest.

What Happened: Hayes highlighted an article by Levine, where GOAT was mentioned. The Bloomberg journalist noted that he is a fan of the meme coin and even included it in his "Levine Picks" portfolio.

"I am now legally obligated to tell you that I am a fan of Goatseus Maximus, the Solana joke coin. I put it in my Picks portfolio a while back, and I am rooting for it," wrote Levine.

Hayes went on to speculate that the crypto’s price is bound to go up, given the endorsement by a well-known personality, reported Coingape.

"I think the price of Goatseus Maximus is going to go up because Matt Levine mentioned it. I also think the price of dogwifhat (WIF) went up 10X after Matt mentioned it in his piece," wrote Hayes.

With this, market participants could be eyeing a repeat performance, which could lead to a 10X price rally for GOAT.

"I’m sure everyone is waiting for a meme coin to go up 100X, and I think Goatseus Maximus has a good chance. Maybe I will sell my dogwifhat and put it into GOAT," the BitMEX co-founder concluded his X post, adding fuel to the market speculation.

Solana Meme Coins Gain Hayes’ Endorsement: Hayes has shown enthusiasm for Solana meme coins in the past. Notably, he announced his intention to bet on Goatseus Maximus shortly after revealing his plans to reduce meme coin holdings due to market uncertainty.

Earlier this month, WIF, a meme coin that was airdropped to SOL holders, surged over 1,200% after getting mentioned in an article by Matt Levine.
