SUI meme token $HIPPO has donated 5 million Thai Baht to Khao Kheow Open Zoo and entered into an official charity partnership with the zoo.

The partnership was announced on October 7th, 2024 by $HIPPO in a press release shared with Chainwire.

The SUI Moo Deng fan token Sudeng – $HIPPO has officially entered into a charitable partnership with Khao Kheow Open Zoo donating a hugely significant 5 million Thai Baht (approx US$150k) to the zoo and zoos of Thailand.

$HIPPO’s team were in Thailand represented by Kullathida Othong, to creating a strong and lasting charity partnership to support Moo Deng’s zoo and the other zoos of Thailand citing the difficulties the North of Thailand’s wildlife is facing from the current floods.

“We are so grateful for this donation from $HIPPO,” said Kanchit Srinoppawan, Director General of Khao Kheow Open Zoo. “This money will go a long way in helping us to care for the animals at the zoo and to support our conservation efforts. We are also excited to be partnering with $HIPPO on a variety of initiatives to raise awareness of the importance of wildlife conservation.”
