Huawei Mate 70 \'Pro\' turns up with traditional design and plenty of cameras in new leak

TheMate 70series' last appearance in a high-profile leak may or may not have seen one of the upcoming flagship smartphonesmistakenfor theNubia Z70 Ultra.

It is tipped to adopt aniPhone-esque flat-edged frame (as withmostof its premium Android-poweredrivals); however, the "Mate 70-series" device as depicted in a new leak clearly bucks this trend.

It is said to stick with a quad-curved display to go with its curving sides; then again, it retains theMate 60series' reputation for relatively slimcamera humps- even though it seems to house no less than 5 lenses and/or sensors on its rear panel.

Given its signature octagonal shape, the hump might debut as a successor to that of the60 RS, even though the blogTechmaniacsidentifies the device as the 70 Pro instead.

Either way, it is said to debut with a fingerprint sensor built into the power button (which is indeedred) rather than directly into the display, asHuaweiwill strive to boost the uptake of its version ofFace IDin Mate 70-series users.
