DJI has only just started selling the Neo (curr. $199 on Amazon), having debuted it in late August before releasing it on September 5. While the 135 g drone landed alongside a new RC-N3 remote controller, a new pair of first-person view (FPV) goggles that were rumoured did not come to pass. Instead, DJI currently advertises the Neo as being compatible with the Goggles 3 and the associated accessories it designed for the Avata 2.
However, Jasper Ellens has now sparked fresh speculation that this rumoured pair of unreleased FPV goggles will be getting a full release. Allegedly, DJI intends to sell these as the DJI Goggles N3. Moreover, the leaker alleges that DJI will bundle the Neo and the Goggles N3 as part of a 'Motion 3' special combo pack.
Unfortunately, Ellens has only provided a solitary promotional image so far. Likewise, he has not revealed a release date yet. With that being said, Ellens expects to see more of the Goggles N3 in October, adding that he has already seen the FPV goggles being sold as a cheaper option with the Neo in certain retailer listings. In the meantime, DJI will release the Osmo Action 5 Pro, launch details of which we have covered separately.
The above is the detailed content of DJI Neo rumoured to become cheap FPV drone with DJI Goggles N3 refresh. For more information, please follow other related articles on the PHP Chinese website!
