ABCDE: Why should we invest in UTXO Stack

ABCDE-led UTXO Stack can technically help project developers issue BTC Layer2 based on UTXO architecture with one click, and natively integrates RGB++ protocol capabilities. In terms of security, Layer 2 security is guaranteed by pledging BTC, CKB and BTC L1 assets.

1. The battle for BTC Layer2 and RGB++

If you want to explain UTXO Stack clearly, it is impossible to avoid RGB++

Currently There are more than 20 BTC Layer 2 on the market, but most of them are EVM solutions. They basically use ETH’s technology stack + bridge to solve the expansion problem of BTC. Although the ecosystem can be quickly built in the short term, in the long term, this solution has no strong binding relationship with the BTC main chain in terms of security and relies heavily on bridges. And the security is highly related to BTC L1, and it is a solution that is sufficient for BTC Native. The Lightning Network has been running for many years and has not achieved ideal results. effect, and has a natural expansion shortcoming that cannot support smart contracts. Client-side verification paradigm solutions such as Taproot and RGB also have many problems such as long implementation times and slow technological progress. This is also the main reason why the current EVM expansion plan is so popular

And Nervos, which has been deeply involved in the public chain field for many years, uses the natural structural advantages of POW+UTXO as BTC + innovative "isomorphic mapping" technology to verify the RGB client The paradigm was "seamlessly migrated" to CKB and named RGB++. It has sacrificed a little privacy in exchange for great functionality and flexibility expansion, and security is strongly bound to BTC L1. More importantly, RGB++ was launched just a few days ago! This means that this is no longer an expansion narrative that stays at the concept or development level, but a product that can actually start building ecosystems and solutions.

If the above terms are like client-side verification and isomorphic binding is still too abstract, then the following approximate analogy can be used to understand RGB++ - the user initiates a transaction on BTC L1 to trigger the RGB++ asset transaction belonging to the user on CKB , when this transaction is completed on CKB, write back the previous Commitment of BTC L1

其實不然，好處有以下四個

• RGB++作為資產發行協議，讓BTC L1擁有了發行RGB新資產的能力（想想Merlin的BRC420）
• 在CKB上面的RGB++資產交易是完全圖靈完備，具備可程式化的。
• 你可以等多筆RGB++轉賬完成後，再匯總發送一個Commitment到比特幣L1上，這被稱為“交易折疊”，是不是很有Rollup即視感，這不就省掉很多Gas費用了
• 不光是RGB++資產可以被映射到CKB，Atomical，Rune等具備UTXO特性的資產一樣可以映射到CKB上來做圖靈完備的交易

因為Bitcoin L1上面的UTXO才能操作或更新RGB++UTXO，所以在RGB++裡，CKB成了BTC的“執行+DA”層，BTC L1成了真正意義上的“結算層”，這是目前任何EVM和非EVM BTC 擴容方案都無法做到的

如果你覺得這套方案還是速度不夠快，費用不夠低怎麼辦？畢竟BTC L1上的交易依舊不可避免，CKB作為一條POW L1的極限TPS​​也只有幾百。有沒有更靈活快速的擴容方案，就像…ETH生態那邊的Appchain？
