LayerZero: The witch list is expected to be announced this weekend! ZRO will definitely be airdropped in June

LayerZero, a full-chain interoperability protocol with a valuation of over US$3 billion, is one of the most anticipated airdrop projects this year. LayerZero announced the completion of the first phase of airdrop snapshots at the beginning of last month, and then launched the "Witch Self-Reporting Program" to allow users to report whether their addresses have witch behavior.

The two stages of self-reporting of witches are:

  • Phase 1: The user surrenders his address to see if there is any witch behavior. If he surrenders, the user will receive 15% For airdrop rewards, if users fail to surrender, the official will release a list of identified witch addresses, and the airdrop rewards for users on the list who have not surrendered will be reset to zero.

  • Phase 2: Official bounties will be opened, and users can submit detailed reports on witch activities. A successful report will result in the Witch user receiving nothing, while the bounty hunter will receive 10% of Witch's expected distribution.

At the end of the first phase, LayerZero preliminary statistics showed that 803,093 addresses were identified as witch accounts. After the second phase officially ended on May 30, LayerZero stated that, A complete list of witch addresses will be compiled, and it is estimated that the total number of witch addresses will exceed the million mark.

There will not be a formal appeals process for each address, but there will be 24 hours to review and report clusters that are deficient/missing from the inspection and, if verified, will be removed.

In addition, Pellegrino also posted earlier today that nearly 200 witch reports have been approved: There are almost 200 approved reports (valid + partially valid), and it feels great to enter the sprint phase

On the other hand, Pellegrino said on the 5th that he hoped to have another two months to review witches, pointing out that there are some very obvious large-scale witch clusters involving adults. Thousands of addresses, but due to time reasons, he had to give up the review, and LayerZero’s TGE schedule will not change.

In addition, Pellegrino said on the 7th that the Witch review work has not yet been completed, but he did not disclose the specific process, but he emphasized that the airdrop will definitely be carried out in June.
